Customer experience center

For several years now, I’ve been supporting BNP Paribas Fortis in developing digital products. In May 2015, the bank also launched the ‘Customer Experience Center’.

The goal? To ensure that the digital products that the bank develops truly meet the needs of the customer. I’m the digital architect in the Customer Experience Center, and I also coach the conceptual team. The more than 10 concept designers in the Customer Experience Center dialogue directly with selected customers.

They listen to them in the different phases of a project: from discussing an initial idea, to developing a prototype and its concrete elaboration, to the finished product.

Supporting projects to develop customer-focused products, they have the customer ‘think along with them’ and translate their wishes into concrete solutions. These solutions are then further refined to provide the customer with exactly what they want.
